The Transverse provides support groups for the TGNBNCI+ community in Ventura, Oxnard, Fillmore, Santa Paula, Ojai, Camarillo, Port Hueneme, Thousand Oaks, and surrounding areas.
Trans Peer Group: Ventura
Every other Friday, Emily from The Transverse hosts a transgender peer chat and support group at Diversity Collective in Ventura. We have a great group of folks every week and talk about anything and everything, from trans issues to tips and tricks, from home improvement to trains, we get together, talk, hang out, and just simply enjoy being in a completely safe space where all identities are welcome and we can truly be ourselves.
Are you a little shy and want to bring a cis friend or significant other? As long as they’re with you and they are respectful, all are welcome.

Out & About
Out & About is Emily’s other local brain child. This LGBT+ adventure group is all about getting out and doing fun things with others like us. We go on hikes, walks, bike rides, have picnics, shopping trips, nights out, anything that strikes us.
